The Brisbane Bangla School, in partnership with the Bangladesh Association in Brisbane and the Ethnic Schools Association of Queensland, is hosting a full-day festival on 23 February 2025, starting at 11 am at Robelle Domain, Education City Drive, Springfield Central, QLD 4300. This event is supported by the Queensland Government and Varnam Cultural Society Queensland.
The festival will celebrate International Mother Language Day (IMLD) and Harmony Day within a multicultural setting, featuring a parade to honour the martyrs of mother languages, cultural performances from various communities, and a variety of multicultural food stalls. Admission is free for all attendees.
Those interested in participating through cultural performances, essay competitions related to IMLD/Harmony Day or setting up stalls are requested to complete the linked EOI form below ASAP by 7th February 2025.
